Experienced Microbiologist

Responsibilities include:

  • Planning and performing experiments using variety of microbiology techniques
  • Working with a variety of microorganisms: bacteria and phages
  • Isolating and maintaining cultures of bacteria or other microorganisms for future study
  • Identifying and classifying microorganisms found in specimens collected from humans, water, and other sources
  • Working with physiological samples: stool, saliva and biopsies
  • Recording, analyzing and interpreting data
  • Protocol and SOP preparation
  • Keeping up with current knowledge by reviewing the findings
  • Working in a team of four scientists

Qualifications:

  • M.Sc. in a relevant life sciences field
  • Proven experience in microbiology and microbiology research
  • Molecular biology experience is an advantage
  • Human-associated microbiology experience is an advantage
  • Immunology and electron microscopy background is an advantage

Assay Development Scientist

Responsibilities include:

  • Development, qualification and implementation of assays for quantitation of test items and biomarkers in animal and human physiological samples
  • Reagent development and adjustment
  • Working with complex physiological matrices: blood, stool, saliva, tissues and biopsies
  • Planning and performing experiments using variety of microbiology techniques
  • Working with a variety of microorganisms: bacteria and phages
  • Isolating and maintaining cultures of bacteria or other microorganisms for future studies
  • Identifying and classifying microorganisms found in specimens collected from humans, water, and other sources
  • Recording, analyzing and interpreting data
  • Protocol and SOP preparation
  • Keeping up with current knowledge by reviewing the findings
  • Working in a team of four scientists

Qualifications:

  • M.Sc. in a relevant life sciences field
  • 3+ years R&D experience
  • 3+ years proven experience in quantitative assay development including assay implementation in complex physiological matrices
  • Familiar with technologies such as ELISA, biochemical assay, cell-based assay, reporter gene assay
  • Statistical analysis skills
  • Working experience with assay validation, regulatory knowledge such as FDA/EMA, ICH, USP and clinical research experience is an advantage
  • Immunology and enzymology background is an advantage
  • Background in microbiome research is an advantage
  • Molecular biology experience is an advantage
  • Human-associated microbiology experience is an advantage
  • QC experience is an advantage

Project Manager

Main responsibilities

Lead a drug discovery and development project in the microbiome field:

  • Set and oversee project objectives, key activities, timelines, budget and project risks
  • Build expertise in the target indication (literature, competition, key methodologies)
  • Oversee ongoing project activities – plan experiments, in-vitro and in-vivo work, pre-clinical development
  • Lead/build a team of researchers and KOLs to meet project goals
  • CRO management
  • Set/guide collaborations and communications (CROs, hospitals, clients)

Job requirements

  • Academic background – PhD in Biology
  • Background in microbiome / GI major advantage
  • Previous experience in project/alliance management in the biotech industry
  • Strong management skills
  • Fast learner and independent thinker, able to perform to the highest standards both individually and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent English

Business Development Director

Main responsibilities

  • Identify collaboration opportunities with leading pharma companies based on company products under development – Build marketing material, interact with potential partners, negotiate terms, finalize collaboration agreements.
  • Support R&D project through partnerships with academia, hospital, CROs, start-ups, service providers – joint project or in-licensing agreements
  • Analyze market opportunities and build business plans – entry into new fields, competitiveness of existing fields
  • Product management – Work with project leaders to understand product offering and our unique offering
  • Assist in company public relation efforts

Job requirements

  • Previous position in business development with proven capabilities in deal making. Experience in the biotech industry
  • Academic background – Degree in business/management. Preference for background in Biology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong management skills
  • Fast learner and independent thinker, able to perform to the highest standards both individually and as part of a team
  • Fluent English
